Google Internet Summit 2009: The State of the Internet May 6, 2009 Google Internet Summit 2009: Information is power, Part 2 - A legal, political and regulatory position. Panelists are Andrew McLaughlin, Rick Whitt, Alan Davidson, and Nicole Wong. On 5 and 6 May 2009, in Mountain View, Googlers have brought together and discuss the academic and business world to a 2-day summit, the state of the Internet worldwide. The goal was to gather a wide range of knowledge to informTo achieve Google's plans for the future - from product development and marketing to users' expectations and our ability to keep the Internet open yet secure. More than 30 speakers and moderators led the discussions around 8 themes: networks, wireless technologies and sensors, safety, standards, applications, democracy, law, policy and regulation, research and cloud computing and the future. Eric Schmidt, will be offered some of the comments, expressed his optimism that the challenges to be faced with the governments of masonry from AccessInternet and technology by building networks that are transparent, open and scalable to be overcome.
